Strut your funky piano stuff with Boogie Lights, a disco pop style solo in the key of D minor for beginner players at the Grade 0-1 standard (ABRSM).
The right hand opens with a catchy melody accompanied by crotchet notes in the left hand. These quarter notes match the classic disco bass line that you'll hear in the play-along backing track.
We then crescendo to an exciting ABBA style middle section in F major before returning to the main theme and accented end 'hits'.
Boogie Lights is great fun to play and a real glitter ball show-stopper with the backing track. Along with this sheet music you'll also get a slow-tempo practice backing to help you get the hang of playing along an accompaniment before moving up to the full tempo backing track at 120 bpm.
Feel the groove!

Nice little disco piece, excellent for working repeating notes and staccato touch in the bass. Also great for working rests at the beginning of bars, really makes you think about counting properly! Lots of fun.
