Okay, so there are no actual oceans on the Moon, but there are many massive flat areas that have been named after seas - so we're close!
Oceans of the Moon is a flowing and expressive piano piece in the key of G major written for advanced pianists of Grade 5+ standard.
The middle section features a variation on the theme, and there are lots of opportunities to practice your moon walking triplets and syncopated left hand rhythms!
This piece should be played con Ped. to sustain the chords created by the movement in both hands. Be careful not to use the pedal too much though, or you'll make a lunar 'mush'!
