Description
Up Periscope is an upbeat funky number that will delight beginner pianists who are working towards their Grade 1 (ABRSM, AMEB or RCM).
It's great fun to play this piece with the uplifting backing track which comes with the piano sheet music. However, it will also work as a stand-alone number.
The opening melody features alternating left and right hand patterns, which lie comfortably under the hands. Once you're comfortable with the notes you'll then find plenty of opportunity to work on the marked articulations and dynamics to add the sparkle to your performance.
Up Periscope will also work well as one of the Rock School RSL 'free choice' pieces at the Grade 1 level.
