Bird on a Wire is a gentle jazz waltz in the key of C major and will suit intermediate level pianists at about the Grade 3 standard.
The opening melody features a simple, yet hypnotic crotchet quarter-note rhythm. The piece then spreads its wings into the middle section, where you'll have a chance to practice your swung quaver eighth-notes in the classic jazz waltz style.
