Howdy partner!
Let's head 'em up and move 'em out with Buckaroo, a cowboy Country & Western style piece in G major for established beginner pianists at about grade 2 (ABRSM) level.
This piece features a 'rolling' left hand figure, which accompanies the right hand's chromatic melody and lies nicely under the fingers.
There are also several syncopated rhythms to have fun with and you'll find a classic example of a jazz/boogie woogie solo riff in the right hand at bars 23-24.
I hope you enjoy Buckaroo and ya'll even get a chance to ride out into the sunset at the end!
This piece is currently on the Australian Music Examinations Board syllabus. Thanks to Beth in Brisbane Australia for this performance.
