Description
Little Green Men is a cheeky bossa nova piano duet in E minor and is great fun for established beginners (primo part) at about the Grade 2 standard (ABRSM).
Moving along at a lively foot-tapping tempo of 164 bpm, this up-tempo bossa nova features quarter and eighth note rhythms with quirky legato and staccato phrasing. The primo part is played one octave higher than written, in the usual treble and bass clef staves.
We engage warp drive in the middle section as the piece modulates into the relative major, offering some more challenging syncopation for the primo player.
You'll find plenty of extraterrestrial dynamics to enjoy in Little Green Men, and also a few 'space quotes' that you may recognise!
This duet comes with two professionally recorded play-along backing tracks for the primo player; one at the marked tempo and another at a slower practice tempo. You'll also get a play-along backing track for both players as well as a full performance MP3.

Fantastic piece of music. Great rhythm and composition. My 13 year old daughter is hooked playing duets and loves this piece. It has been challenging for her but yet easy to learn. The different backing tracks is a great idea and helps with the learning. Highly recommended. Thank you
